Briganti!

Briganti!: Il momento storico che ha stigmatizzato l’unità d’Italia ha avuto come protagonista il fenomeno del brigantaggio che interessò tutta l’Italia Meridionale, in particolare, che per risolvere i suoi atavici e negativi problemi, non fu disposta ad accettare le nuove regole impartite dal Governo e dalla casa Sabauda. Fu un periodo confuso, triste che viene riletto per comprendere quali le cause e gli effetti ed anche per stabilire se i tanti briganti, così negativi nell’immaginario collettivo, furono effettivamente le “pecore nere” oppure furono loro stessi vittime d’una società corporativa piena di contrasti, ineguaglianze e soprattutto capace di soffocare i più elementari diritti umani.
The historical moment which has stigmatized the unification of Italy had the phenomenon of banditry affecting all of Southern Italy, in particular, that to solve its problems, it wasn’t negative and atavistic willing to accept the new rules issued by the Government and the House of Savoy. It was a time confused, sad that is reread to understand causes and effects and also to determine whether the many brigands, so negative in the collective imagination, were the “black sheep”, or were themselves victims of a corporate society full of contrasts, inequalities and especially able to stifle the most basic human rights.
